Flerovium-290

Properties and data of the isotope 290Fl.

Content

Flerovium-290 is a radioisotope of the chemical element flerovium, which, in addition to the element-specific 114 protons, has 176 neutrons in the atomic nucleus, resulting in the mass number 290. The very short-lived, only artificially producible, unstable and therefore radioactive nuclide has no practical significance; dealing with 290Fl is for academic purposes only. The official confirmation of the detection of this isotope is still pending.
